    When it comes to people Hikari would rather have a very small group of friends than a large group. She has very poor social skills since she grew up with adults mostly. Growing up with only 'old' people and her uncle has left a lot to be desired. She is not good at making friends, rather she likes to keep her nose in a book then talk to anyone. She keeps her thoughts to herself, unless she has been asked a question directly. When answering anyone she always seems to have Maturity about her that doe not fit with her age.
She is also very eager to learn and could easily be called a teacher's pet. She loves learning and is examining the world, trying to find answers to questions that she has. The only time she ever seems to come out her shell is when she wants to know something and she asking questions about it. She hates heights though, and is terrified of flying class that she knows she will be forced to take like every other first year student. The stairs at Hogwarts will likely give her vertigo if she were to look down.
After the events of the night in the forest Hikari has found herself the center of attention, and not in a good way. Angry looks often follow her from place to leaving her feeling hated and alone. She find it now extra hard to trust people she has never met since so many people already have bad impressions of her, because of her parents. She thinks that everyone she does not know is out to get her.

       • Background:
    Hikari lives with her uncle, well her legal guardian but she calls him her uncle because he is her only family and that was what he wanted her to call him, god-father sounded too formal. What happened to Hikari's parents? She does not really know, all she knows is that they shortly after her birth her parents convinced Eriol, who was a family friend, to take care of her indefinitely. Then they vanished. Hikari does not even know their names, since topics about them never came up. She does not mind one bit. Eriol is a great uncle. He has spent a great deal of his time teaching Hikari about magic, particularly magical history. You see, he is a magical historian and author and newest expect on the subject of magical History, since Bathilda's death 20 some odd years ago.
    She had no friends her own age since the small town they lived in, which was a muggle town, is mostly a retirement community. She loves it though. All the old muggles love to spoiler her, because she live everyone's granddaughter. They love it when she comes over and helps them with their computers and TVs and whatever they have, despite her being a witch Eriol has a lot of muggle technology in their home that Hikari loves to use and teach her neighbors how to use. Seeing them smile always brightens her day. They also teach her about the world too. Many of them have families who live in large cities (like Cardiff and London) and they often talk about what those places are like. Hikari pretty much has a mental map of all of England with roads and streets marked clearly, despite never have leaving her little town, until she needed her school things. In fact Hikari has mental maps of almost all of Europe in her head and she trying to learn the names of all the countries in the world and their capitals, but it is harder than you might think.
    When Hikari got her letter she could not be more happy. The chance to learn at a real school, rather than continue her homeschooling was truly exciting. But Hikari is also very worried, she doubts she will be able to make friends, since she also very shy. Kids her age for some odd reason intimidate her; she thinks it is because she has not met many before. The kids she had met were often grandchildren of the people that lived in her town and they thought she was really weird for living in an "Old-people" town.
    It did not help that when Hikari and her uncle went to London to get her school supplies the city overwhelmed her. All the people and crowds nearly caused Hikari to hyperventilate. Digaon Alley was even worse than London proper. All the shops and sounds and crowds nearly drowned Hikari. It was a huge maze that Hikari could not get her baring with, despite her already knowing where everything was supposed to be. But she did get her school needs and still remained committed to attending Hogwarts. She hopes that attending Hogwarts will help her get out of her shell.

Hikari's two favorite Animes of all time are Card Captor Sakura and Digimon (Adventures and Adventures 02 to be specific)
